At the end of each summer, many community pools have what they call Dog Swims. They allow you to take your dog to the local pool during a specific time so that you and your pet can enjoy the water. These events are published in your local paper and generally are right after Labor Day. They also may offer other events that you and your dog can participate in like raffles, agility contest, dog shows, Police Dog Demonstrations, and more. Be sure to check with your city pool to see if they offer this event before shutting down for the winter. You will have a great time and so will your dog.
